Parent Vision Trip- Greece

“11 countries in 11 months” —A very simple, but powerful statement that only a short time ago meant nothing to you. Today, that statement summarizes the once in a lifetime journey your son or daughter embarked on several months ago. And now, you have been given the opportunity to join them on the field and experience a taste of the World Race.

This journey has been marked by many unique experiences, feelings, and changes. And in many ways, you have been traveling with your racer each step of the way, often sharing in those new things.

You have probably discovered the race is so much more than a missions trip —it’s a journey into the heart of God and into the identity God designed for each of us to walk in.

Our goal is to not only allow you to experience the World Race with your son or daughter by doing missions work together, but to be able to connect in the midst of their journey to better understand how God is at work.

We also want to share the greater vision of what God is doing around the world, by introducing you to our faithful partners and long-term missionaries.

What this trip is
This trip is a way for parents to live alongside their child in true World Race style and participate in intergenerational ministry that will change your life. You will eat with the local people and try their favorite dishes. You will sleep in the typical housing and beds. You will bathe in whatever style is available and travel in the many versions of local transportation. You will also do ministry with your Racer and see first hand what the love of God has done in their lives.

You will see the intentionality of every moment, how every trip to the store can become a ministry opportunity, how every person met will encounter the heart of the Savior, and how missions itself is not an assignment but a lifestyle.

What this trip is not
This trip is not merely a vacation or break from your daily life. It’s probably not a good way to scout out your son or daughter’s future spouse. It’s also not a time to come with an agenda to fix things, either in your son or daughter or with the race.

It’s best to come with a very open mind and heart, because many of your expectations will not be met, at least not the way you anticipated.

In all honesty, it won’t be the easiest week of your life, but it will be a week you’ll never forget.

Please prayerfully consider joining us for this experience. We cannot promise you American comforts, days of sightseeing, sleep-filled nights, or recognizable food, but we can promise you’ll never be the same and that you won’t regret going.
