Although we have often seen the development of special relationships between mission team members and local families, 2015 was the first time we had ever built a mission completely around small team, relational investment in specific families. It proved to be a great call, worth replicating in 2016.
Ministry:
You’ll find relational ministry the challenge your team needs to break the mold of routine missions and kick start some serious spiritual growth.
- Relational Ministry: Your focus will be pouring into the family you are matched with. You’ll have fun with them, share stories, help them, and learn from them, sharing the love of Christ through a lasting, impactful relationship.
- Church Support: Disappointment and discouragement are never far from the ministers who sacrifice so much to serve the Navajo here. Think of ways to bless your ministry hosts personally while you serve here.
- Service Projects: During the week, your team will also dedicate significant time to work/service for Canyon Family Church, whose large facilities are much in need of TLC.
