Create a four-day kids’ Bible camp in the heart of the reservation.
Ministry:
For the June 10 mission: As many as 40 kids and teens a day will join your team at our partner church for 2-3 hours, Mon-Thu afternoons. This is your chance to provide substantial manpower, a boatload of youthful energy, and a lot of Jesus to a successful Bible camp, right in the center of the reservation. You’ll canvass nearby housing neighborhoods to invite the kids, learn where they live, and meet their parents, brothers, and sisters. A couple of evenings will be dedicated to follow up with these families.
Your mission cap will be a Thursday night, community-wide feast in Ethete.
For the July 22 mission: Your team will dedicate their service to reservation pastors, elders, and local church families. You’ll divide into smaller sub-groups, each of which will be assigned to serve one or more families during your week. Your goal will be the renewal and restoration of their spirit, mind, and physical well-being. And provide any practical help they may need. Your team will spend part of each day in work/service to Church leaders and members. You’ll eat lunch with them. You’ll also spend even more of the day praying, worshiping, telling stories, and laughing with them.
This is Kingdom investment at its highest. Prepare to be blown away by how God uses you to restore purpose and commitment to his leaders, and the richness of the new friendships he brings your way.
