Is God calling you to an adventure in Central America?

Known as “The Land of Eternal Spring”, Guatemala is one of the most beautiful and diverse countries in Central America. From the jungles of Rio Dulce to the Lake Atitlan (a volcanic lake so deep it can’t be measured) and the colonial, cobble-stoned streets of Antigua, it’s a country of wonder.

Tourists travel to Guatemala from all over the world, just to climb its volcanoes, drink its coffee, and fly through the the rainforest on a zip line.

But the true beauty of Guatemala is its people—and they need to experience the freedom and hope of Jesus Christ.

In addition to being trapped in a form of Catholicism that is a mixture of tribal religions and cultural tradition, Guatemala is also home to families living in garbage dumps, orphanages with abandoned children, and overflowing prisons. They’ve also experienced terrible tragedy at the hands of mudslides and natural disasters.

A nation of religion, the people of Guatemala need to know of the incredible freedom that comes from true Christianity and a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Ministry:

While in Guatemala, you will serve both in Antigua and in a village on Lake Atitlan. And you will serve through:

  • Kids Ministry: You’ll also get to teach VBS to the kids and volunteer in schools, while sharing the truth and love of Jesus through their favorite language: fun.
  • Community Outreach: Whether going door-to-door in home visits, visiting an orphanage, church ministry, speaking at a Christian radio program, or helping with minor work projects, you’ll encourage the local community around you.
  • Sports Ministry: You’ll have the opportunity to share the love of Christ while playing basketball and soccer local kids and teens.

Will you help raise up the next generation of the Church in Guatemala?
