AMB 2017 Cuba

An adventure waits for you in Cuba!

Less than 90 miles from Florida lies the largest island in the Caribbean, Cuba.

It’s a nation of beautiful people, turbulent history, and deep pain. Though Cuba is the closest country to the United States other than Mexico and Canada, it is a place few Americans have travelled.

In 2014, the Embargo, which limited trade and tourism to Cuba, was lifted. Americans are free to travel to this beautiful Caribbean nation again.

Adventures began officially going to Cuba in 2012, before the Embargo lifted. What we found was a nation hungry for Christ and a growing church inviting us to partner with them.

Though Cuba is still healing from the effects of Communism, the streets are filled with hope. People are open to hearing about Jesus. Churches are bursting with new members. Baptisms regularly happen on public beaches.

A spiritual revolution is happening in Cuba!

Ministry: Our teams partner with a ministry that raises up and sends out pastors and missionaries to plant churches throughout Cuba—and the rest of the world. Alongside the local Cuban missionaries, you may serve in:

  • Home Visits: Visiting and encouraging local church members through prayer, listening to their stories, and getting to know their families

  • Sports Ministry: Play sports with kids, whether at a local school or a pick-up game in a neighborhood.

  • Relational Evangelism: Share the Gospel with anyone you meet, whether in a local park, on the street, or a community gathering.

  • Bible Studies: Share and/or teach in Bible studies or church services

  • Church Ministry: Worship with local believers and visit different church plants,

  • Prayer Ministry: Praying for the sick and interceding for Cuba

The opportunities to serve God and share the Gospel are endless. Be ready to witness the Church as pure as it may have been in the Book of Acts.

God is at work in Cuba. Will you join what He’s doing there on your Spring Break?
