An adventure awaits you in Nicaragua!
Famous for its surfing, canopy tours, and of course, the coffee, Nicaragua is a land of adventure.
But those who live there are desperately poor. Many live on less than two dollars a day.
They need to know they are loved, that they matter, and that they aren’t forgotten.
Even those who live in paradise need hope.
Ministry:
You will partner with local ministry called Camp Gonia, a ministry focused on serving local families and doing service projects in the community.
- Kids Ministry: Your team will do VBS for 2-3 days, sharing the love of Christ in a child’s favorite language: fun.
- Women’s Ministry: You’ll reach out to local women in the community, and possibly be part of a special women’s event.
- Community Outreach/Intercession: Your team will also go on home visits and prayer walk through the community, praying for everyone you meet.
- Work Projects: Your team might help with a service project in the community or serve on a local farm.
- Adventure: You will live your faith as you explore the wonders of Nicaragua, whether that be on a zip line, surfing down a volcano, or shopping in the local markets.
