Ambassadors Alumni – San Diego

Note : This trip is ONLY open to people who have previously participated in an Ambassador trip.

Are you always scrambling to make last-minute plans for New Year's? Would you like to end 2011 and begin 2012 in a truly memorable way?  How 'bout you spend some time catching up with your teammates that you've been missing while jumping right back into ministry?

We're taking some folks to San Diego after Christmas to be Jesus to the homeless and to refugees.  Speaking of which, you remember that Jesus was a refugee when he was born, right?

You'll spend a couple of days with the homeless through a ministry started by a World Race alumna called Fill-A-Belly.  You won't just be dishing out food to a bunch of strangers from the streets. You'll be sharing meals with all kinds of people — low-income families, addicts, the mentally ill, the homeless, travelers — who are in need of food and companionship.  Volunteers and guests alike are welcome to the table of God's grace, where you'll fill each others' souls with relationship.

You'll spend other days reaching out to refugees and pursue other ministry opportunities with a local youth pastor.  And all this while, you'll make some awesome friends with fellow alumni; then you can make a new year's resolution to keep in touch — which sounds much more fun that "losing weight." There will be tons of alumni reunion fun [pssst…it might involve the beach], you won't want to miss it!

We have limited space available, so go ahead and click on that "apply now" button.
