Ministry Description
Projects will vary but may include Bible camps in local community centers/parks, door to door ministry, prayer walks, home repairs, yard work, sports outreach, nursing home visitation. Teams that come with special skills such as sports specialties, skilled labors, music or drama, may have custom ministry events coordinated for them. Projects in July also include Summer Madness (a four evening event held at a local community center targeted to reach teenage students. The event includes games, praise and worship, drama, speakers, and response opportunities).
About This Location:
Anne Arundel County forms part of the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area as well as Annapolis, and has a collective population of over 500,000. It is a semi-rural community along the Chesapeake Bay composed mostly of farms and suburban-like developments.
Food & Lodging
Food will be prepared at the host church (Riva Trace Baptist Church). Lodging will be provided at church or in host homes. Sleeping bags, bedding, air mattresses and towels are needed.
