Join a Beauty for Ashes trip to Cambodia! (Women Only)
Cambodia boasts one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the temple Angkor Wat.
Hidden for centuries under dense jungle, today Angkor Wat is one of most photographed places in the world.
Despite its popularity as a tourist destination, Cambodia itself is struggling to heal from one of the worst genocides in modern history.
In the 1970s, the Khmer Rouge killed over 1.5 million men, women, and children. Faced with inconceivable poverty and desperation, Cambodia became a source, transit point, and destination for human trafficking.
The people of Cambodia are hungry for hope and healing.
Beauty for Ashes exists to share God’s restoration, hope, and healing with suffering and victimized women through ministry and training. Through Beauty for Ashes Retreats, women support and encourage each other by sharing their own stories and experiencing the healing, redeeming power of Jesus.
Will you share God’s restoration, hope, and healing with the women of Cambodia?
While in Cambodia, you will host a retreat for local Khmer women. These could be women who have suffered PTSD from the Khmer Rouge, been abused through domestic violence, or even have left the bars and are on a journey of restoration.
Your team will:
Will you share the love of Christ with women in Cambodia?
