Beauty for Ashes is the women’s ministry of Adventures in Missions.
Our mission is to empower women to experience God’s restoration and hope through storytelling and community. Our vision is to see restored women of all nations serving as Christ’s ambassadors for change, healing, and freedom in their homes, communities, and cultures.
On this trip, Beauty for Ashes is excited to partner with an anti-trafficking ministry out of Atlanta, GA.
As a participant on this missions trip, you will join your team at a cozy cottage in North Georgia, enjoying the warmth of new friends and the expectancy of how God will move. Here, you will be trained and equipped in how to facilitate Beauty for Ashes ministry. This will be a time of authenticity, vulnerability, hope, and healing as you allow God to use your story to empower you and the other women on your team.
During the second half of our trip, we will have an opportunity to share the freedom we’ve received with women who have been trapped in emotional, spiritual and sometimes physical bondage. Your team will host a Beauty for Ashes retreat for women who are survivors of sexual exploitation, now in the loving care of a local residential program.
As you help to facilitate a retreat for these women, you will be a part of what God is doing to restore His daughters!
Ministry:

Be trained and equipped to host Beauty for Ashes retreats, allowing God to bring hope, healing, and redemption to your story.

Learn from the testimonies of those on your team as you grow closer to the Lord and minister to one another.

Facilitate activities with women who are survivors of sexual exploitation and be a part of what God is doing to restore their lives and stories.

Learn to share about topics such as worth, identity, healing, and forgiveness with others through storytelling and vulnerability.

Help create a welcoming space where women feel comfortable and safe, so God can work in and through them.

Build meaningful relationships with your team and those whom you minister to, and leave with a deeper understanding of both who God is and who you are as his daughter.
