The whole nation, especially the older generations, are still healing from the genocide perpetrated under Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge.
Many have lost all hope.
You may have the opportunity to work at an orphanage, helping raise up a generation that will tranform the Cambodian society.
You may also have the opportunity to reach out to the many victims of human trafficking in Cambodia. Help teach these women life skills that will provide an alternative income to prostitution.
You may help teach English through ESL classes and Bible studies. You will build relationships with women who have been rescued from abusive situations and have the opportunity to share the Gospel.
