An exhausting but very satisfying week awaits you in Mississippi
Plenty of successful families with solid home environments are raising kids with character, kids who will do well. However, that’s not the whole story. Beneath the veneer of success, job opportunity, better housing, and good education, the social ills now common to the rest of America also plague the residents of the Choctaw reservation and the communities of rural Mississippi. Alcohol, drug abuse, and sexual immorality have embedded themselves in every community, tearing down the foundations of even stable homes.
Working alongside local churches, and a very special ministry, we support and join their outreach to the Choctaw people, and to the local, largely Black surrounding communities. This provides an array of worship and ministry opportunities to new believers, and strengthens our missions. It also enhances the quality of training for our participants.
In every mission among American Indians, we will devote significant time, energy, and resources to the encouragement and refreshment of spirit of our ministry partners.
