More than eight million people live in Honduras, and 36 percent of the population is under the age of 14. It’s also the third poorest country in the region, with 50 to 60 percent of the labor force either unemployed or underemployed. Many families struggle daily to meet their basic needs.
Partner with a church in Honduras, and you’ll have the chance to share Christ’s love with the people there. You could serve and disciple former street kids, gang members, and drug addicts. You could share the gospel with them and others through sports and service projects. You might participate in mass feedings in the community and teach English at various schools. You could pray with people desperate for the hope that Christ provides.
