Amid the natural beauty of the American West lies a far uglier reality.
Known for its stunning Rocky Mountain setting, beautiful parks, and natural resources, Denver rests at an elevation of exactly one mile. It even boasts its own unique cuisine.
Denver is the largest city in a 500-mile radius, and serves as a regional hub of transportation and distribution. Sadly, it has also become a hub for the migrant homeless.
Children live in temporary homes, and local ministry partners struggle to find enough help to meet the needs of the growing population of the forgotten poor.
Your team will partner with Joshua Station to prepare and maintain their transitional housing facilities. You’ll focus time connecting with the homeless, leading them to discover the love and support they need to make permanent changes in their lives.
You’ll conduct Vacation Bible School for impoverished kids, and share the love of Jesus in the beautiful 315-acre City Park, where the homeless gather in the summer.
On your trip you may have the opportunity to connect with people individually as you visit door-to-door. Listen to their stories and share your own experiences of grace and forgiveness.
Reach out to this underserved community. You’ll feel encouraged and strengthened as you bring true peace and healing to people who are searching desperately for hope.

You will experience the beauty of the Mile High City, with a chance to hike the Rocky Mountains or visit Red Rocks Park and its renowned outdoor amphitheater. Or you could relax in a café in Boulder or meander through the shops and restaurants of the 16th Street Mall.
