Apply an incredibly simple strategy for sharing Jesus with a closed people
Most of the Ho-chunk people are closed to the Gospel. Not long ago, a respected tribal warrior committed his life to Jesus. He is actively working with other Native Christians to reach their people. You are invited to work alongside them in relational ministry. We also believe teams should love on, encourage, and help those who are already following Jesus, including our partner pastors and leaders.
In the middle of a Native community of over 200 Ho-chunk people, a small park makes an ideal location for a daily VBS for the many kids who live right there. The traditional hog roast at week’s end usually attracts from 200-400 people!
Expand your outreach through evening encounters with thousands of college-age students from all over the world who come each summer to work in this popular resort area. They are very open to building friendships, eager to sit and have a good conversation. Be Jesus among them! Your group will have an opportunity to influence future world leaders.
