Kingdom Journeys: Middle East

Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession
Psalm 2:8

You’ve seen and experienced God move first-hand around the world, and now you’re eager to get back out there – eager to continue walking in the ways you’ve grown. You’re hungry for more, and wondering how the journey you’ve already walked fits into the rest of your life.

You long to further discover your specific role in God’s ultimate global mission – the redemption of people from every nation, tribe, people, and tongue.

Over 3 billion people still live without adequate access to the Gospel (Joshua Project). As things stand, the vast majority of these people will die without ever hearing the Gospel in a way they are able to understand and accept. Kingdom Journeys serves as a mid-term launchpad to connect Alumni Racers with the staggering need of the task remaining. It’s an outlet for activation and discovery, equipping alumni to understand how they uniquely fit into the task of bringing fulfillment to the Great Commission.

Imagine yourself and a few other like-minded believers in one of the most unreached places on earth. You have months ahead of you with nothing to do but seek out how the Lord is moving in this region and pursue Him in it. No plans. No obligations. No restrictions. What would you say? What would you do? What all will He show you?

The Middle East has been the center of history and humanity since the Garden of Eden. Often vilified and misunderstood by the West and Western media, attention continually pivots towards events surrounding Jerusalem. While the region is rich with Biblical history, today the Middle East is largely unreached by the Gospel. Distracted and romanced by rewalking 2000-year-old footsteps, it is easy to miss the scope of the work that still needs to be done here, at the center of it all.

You can be a part of the new chapter that God is writing in this region.

The mission…

for your small, select team, will be to seek out and join the Lord in what He’s doing in the Middle East. The training will reflect this. While the team will live together, there will be individual ministry internships and placements based on participants’ unique giftings, callings, and passions. During the interview/acceptance stage, we will work with each participant to assign them a location of their interest, as well as find ministry placements that will be mutually beneficial for both the participant and the ministry.

This trip is for those who want a snapshot into what long-term ministry among Muslims in the Middle East is like. Any ministry opportunities pursued should be an overflow of the team’s focus on relational discipleship and having Gospel conversations with Muslims in the Arab World.

Placements may be in any of the following:

  • Israel: Jerusalem, Nazareth, Mevasseret Zion
  • Jordan: al-Mafraq, al-Azraq, Amman
  • Lebanon: Beirut, Tyre, Bekaa
  • Palestine: Bethlehem

You will come off this trip with an experiential understanding of the ‘task remaining’, how God is working among Unreached People Groups, and how you are uniquely gifted and equipped to join God in what He’s doing around the world, towards the completion of the Great Commission, until all have heard.

God is calling you to journey with Him in bringing His Gospel to the farthest unreached corners of the globe, to those that have not yet heard.

What will your Journey be?
