Kingdom Journeys: Pioneers
Istanbul to Cairo
This trip will pioneer a route overland from Istanbul, Turkey to Cairo, Egypt through the Middle East and the Levant. Participants will help scout route options and capacity to host future teams from Central-Southern Turkey to Cyprus, and from Israel to Egypt through Jordan.
The purpose of this trip is to do reconnaissance on route logistics and transportation options, gather country information (cost and safety), and find and develop potential contacts and men of peace. There is an upcoming need for this information to prepare the way for future teams. This team will serve to branch Adventures in Missions’ efforts into the Middle East, as well as provide participants who are burdened for this region an opportunity to activate their giftings in this area.
Participants need to be adaptable and intuitive, prepared for long overland travel, and passionate about unreached people (specifically Middle Eastern and Arab people). Participants are expected to have a strong spiritual foundation and perspective. Additionally, strong logistical intuition and maturity is required, as participants will take responsibility for the majority of their own travel and accommodations.
