Thick rainforests, rugged highlands, long beaches, and fertile hills define the country’s beautiful landscape. Its rich history dates back to the Spanish conquistadores.
Many species of birds and animals thrive in this diverse climate, but the Nicaraguan people are not thriving.
In the poorest nation in Central America, almost 80% of people live on less than $2 a day. More than half the population lives beneath the poverty line. One in four Nicaraguans is starving or suffering from malnutrition.
Nicaragua needs your encouragement.
Your team will partner with local ministries to bring hope to the disheartened. You’ll connect one-on-one with people in desperate need. You could provide for undernourished families through community development programs and outreaches.
Feel God’s love made real. Build relationships as you prove to the people you meet that they are precious to Jesus.
