An adventure awaits you in Ecuador!
Just four hours outside Quito (the bustling capital city of Ecuador) is a place beyond the Andes highlands, where the indigenous people of the Amazon jungle live and work in a place mostly unknown to other parts of the world. This is the region where almost 40 years ago, a group of missionaries, including Jim Elliot, gave their lives in pursuit of reaching the people of “region Amazonas” with the good news of Jesus Christ. Because of the love that caused these people to give their lives, many in that tribe are now lovers of Christ.
Sadly, there are still many tribes in the region that don’t know Jesus and still partake in the ancient tribal religions and conflicts.
Slowly but surely Christ’s love is making his way through the jungle through a Bible school run by an organization called Incalink. This group is run by missionaries to operate in the territories once occupied by the Incas and reach the 300 million youth that live there.
This trip is very much about investing into the small community your team will live in, everyone from your host family to the people you meet on the street. You will share life with them, joining with the local church to reach out in a variety of ways: teaching English in the afternoons, evening village outreach, construction projects/occasional farming, and prayer walking through the community.
Every moment, every conversation, will be an opportunity to share God’s love with someone who might not know Him.
Join our team to serve the beautiful people of Ecuador.
