Beauty for Ashes empowers women to experience God’s restoration and hope through storytelling and safe community.
Through Beauty for Ashes Retreats, women support and encourage each other through sharing their own stories and experiencing the healing, redeeming power of Jesus.
God is using Beauty for Ashes to ignite a movement of bringing hope to His daughters. He is empowering them to bring lasting change to their homes, communities, and cultures.
We are excited to invite you to be a part of this movement bringing Beauty for Ashes ministry to the women of Colombia.
As a part of a Beauty for Ashes missions team, you will get to experience the richness of the ministry with both your team and the local Colombian women we will serve:
Ministry

Be trained to help host Beauty for Ashes retreats, allowing God to bring hope, healing and redemption to your story.

Learn from the testimonies of those on your team, as you grow closer to the Lord and minister to one another.

Facilitate activities with the local Colombian women and be a part of what God is doing to restore their lives and stories.

Learn to share about topics such as worth, identity, healing and forgiveness with others, through storytelling and vulnerability.

Build meaningful relationships with your team and those whom you minister to, and leave with a deeper understanding of who God is, and who you are as His daughter.
On this missions trip, Beauty for Ashes will serve the women of The City of Refuge Mission in Medellin, Colombia. City of Refuge serves women coming out of homelessness, addiction, and prostitution through a one-year Christ-centered restoration program. Through daily Bible classes, counseling, and life skills training, City of Refuge seeks to give women an opportunity to find total and complete healing in Christ.
Medellin is known as the “City of Eternal Spring” for its temperate weather and host of beautiful native flowers. Nestled in the Andes mountain region of Colombia, Medellin boasts incredible views of Colombia’s lush green landscapes and rugged natural beauty.
On our off day, you will love experiencing the warm, welcoming culture over a cup of Colombia’s world renowned coffee and delicious local cuisine.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and He still does today. This missions trip is a journey not just for a week, but for a lifetime. Beauty for Ashes is inviting you to be a part of a journey to bring freedom, redemption, and hope to the hearts of your sisters around the world.
