An adventure awaits you in Nicaragua!
Called “the land of lakes and volcanoes”, thick rainforests, rugged highlands, beautiful beaches, and fertile hills define Nicaragua’s beautiful landscape.
The poorest nation in Central America, almost 80% of Nicaraguans live on less than $2 a day. More than half the population lives beneath the poverty line. One in four Nicaraguans is starving or suffering from malnutrition.
The people of Nicaragua need the encouragement of knowing they are seen and loved by God.
Ministry:
You will partner with local ministry called Camp Gonia, and ministry could look like:
- Women’s Ministry: You’ll reach out to local women in the community, and possibly be part of a special women’s event.
- Kids Ministry: Your team may do VBS, sharing the love of Christ in a child’s favorite language: fun.
- Community Outreach/Intercession: Your team will also go on home visits and prayer walk through the community, praying for everyone you meet.
- Work Projects: Your team might help with a service project in the community or serve on a local farm.
Will you remind the people of Nicaragua that they are seen and extravagantly loved by God?
