Detroit is a bustling city filled with many people hungry for hope. A very difficult and widespread bankruptcy attacked this city when the auto industry moved out, causing Detroit to decay. People began to lose hope. Once one of the most thriving, vibrant cities in the country, Detroit now struggles to rebuild in the midst of broken promises, loss, and poverty. It’s a city in need of restoration and hope.

Ministry

We partner with ministries in Detroit who are deeply invested in growing and improving their city. You’ll join our ministry partner in:

• Youth/Kids Ministry: working with inner city youth and kids, which includes running a VBS program.
• Manual Labor: There’s a possibility for light construction projects.
• Community Outreach: As you live and serve in this community, you’ll take part in reaching this community with the love of Christ, whether that’s in conversations, prayer walks, or organized events.

God is calling you to journey with Him, to share His love with the nations and establish His Kingdom on earth. Will you join Him in Detroit?
