STM 2020 Ethiopia

From locations.adventures.org

If you feel that stirring inside your heart for more, you’re hungry to experience God moving all over the world, and you want to share the life-changing love of Jesus with people you meet, then you absolutely do not want to pass up this opportunity to join our trip to Ethiopia.

What will I be doing in Ethiopia?

This ministry has a vision of providing an environment of love and security to children rejected and abandoned by parents and relatives as a result of the AIDS epidemic and/or other social conditions in Ethiopia.

They also provide residences to retired pastors, creating a community atmosphere where the reality of family, respect, and dignity is restored. These retired seniors naturally become “grandparents” for the children of the community.

You will do a variety of ministry, but a large portion of time will be dedicated to children’s ministry and community development through encouragement, service projects, and sharing your faith in tangible ways.

We ask you to come with a willingness to share the restorative love of Christ with the people you meet and to expect the unexpected!

Where will I stay?

You’ll stay in a dorm-style guesthouse with your team and have access to western toilets and showers. You’ll also have electricity, clean water, but no wifi!

How can I make a difference?

God doesn’t just move on the mission field – He moves right where you are today. But sometimes it takes a journey to discover how to see Him in the everyday and how to live life on mission wherever He leads you next in the world.

Whether you’re a mom or dad looking for a family trip next year, a youth pastor interested in taking a church trip or you simply want to go out into the world and share the Gospel, Ethiopia may be a great fit for you.

Friend, you won’t regret it. You are a world changer. Now go and change the world.
