If you feel that stirring inside your heart for more, you’re hungry to experience God moving all over the world, and you want to share the life-changing love of Jesus with people you meet, then you absolutely do not want to pass up this opportunity to join our trip to Nicaragua.
What will I be doing in Nicaragua?
You and your team will get to partner with our Adventures Nicaragua Base and there are several incredible ways you can serve. You may serve alongside a children’s ministry, assist with various work projects and even do community outreach! Check out a more detailed description of what ministry looks like in Nicaragua below.
- Children’s Ministry: Your team may do VBS and share the love of Christ through fun and exciting activities with the kids. Or you could spend time at a boys school, playing soccer and helping in classes. Or you may be serving in the local barrios, playing with the children there.
- Community Outreach/Intercession: Your team will also go on home visits and prayer walk through the community, praying for people you meet. There also might be an opportunity to help with a food clinic.
- Work Projects: Your team might help with service projects at a local school, helping in the kitchen or on the property.
Where will I stay?
You will be staying in dorm-style buildings with twin-sized bunk beds. The rooms do not have air conditioning, but they are clean and comfortable with bathrooms, showers, toilets, and electricity. And don’t worry, we will be sure you have some amazing Nicaraguan coffee to help fuel your days!
