Arapaho & Shoshone Tribes – A Cross Cultural Ministry In The American West!
The Eastern Shoshoni and Northern Arapaho tribes share the Wind River Reservation in central Wyoming, one of America’s most beautiful Native American enclaves. Our annual Bible Camp, a big hit right in the heart of that reservation, draws 40-50 kids a day (for four days) to our partner’s church. All of them come from two nearby housing neighborhoods.
As you spend time with the kids, your team can bring substantial energy and a lot of Jesus into their lives!
In addition, we help our partners with minor work projects, send small teams to assist and encourage a couple of other reservation ministries, and help an elderly Shoshoni grandmother cut and stack firewood to heat her home in the cold winter ahead.
In the evenings, we follow up with the kids and their families in the housing neighborhoods.
