Join our alumni trip to Nicaragua!
So, you’ve already done 11 countries in 11 months. You’ve seen God work in miraculous ways. You’ve witnessed the supernatural. And now you’re back in the States. Are you itching for an opportunity to get back out there?
Alumni Trips are an opportunity to reconnect with life on the mission field. Join fellow alumni to serve alongside some of our long-term missionaries. Whether you’re thinking about doing life overseas or just looking for a short term trip, this is your ticket.
In addition to this being a short term trip for alumni, it’s also an opportunity for you to share life on the mission field with your home community. Sign up and you can invite a friend, your family, or maybe someone from church. This could be a life changing experience for someone you know.
* Each alumnus can invite up to two guests on the trip.
* Alumni must have completed the World Race or Passport.
Granada, Nicaragua
REAP Granada is focused on creating true disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ by engaging in Christ centered community development.
Through living life together in community, their goal is to demonstrate the love of God and to not only teach the Word of God, but to model the life of a believer in community. In order to accomplish this, they purposely create multiple “touchpoints” each week within the different facets of community.
They not only worship together and study God’s Word together, but they play sports together and gather at homes. They visit the jail and the hospital. They provide work and work together. They spend as much time together, in as many different ways as possible. As a result, they are able to not only teach the word of God, but we are able to demonstrate the humility, love, forgiveness and unity required to create true disciples of Christ and maintain a vibrant community.
Meet our missionaries in Nicaragua: Scott and Jennifer Esposito
Scott and Jennifer have been married more than 20 years and have four children- Jordan, Joshua, Hannah and Journey. Scott has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years and has served as a Vice President for leading Fortune 500 companies the last 12 years. Jennifer has been a full time stay at home mother and volunteer.
God has prepared Scott and Jenn for their calling to the mission field through their long service to their local church and community. They have taught Sunday school, led home Bible studies, and have been involved in a ministry serving single mothers in the community. They were also part of the Launch Team that planted Velocity Christian Church, their sponsoring church.
Scott & Jennifer have two new additions to their team as of this year. Kristin Fuller, who has previously worked in the Adventures office, has a heart for discipling World Racers and serves as the operational leader for the Adventures office. Nathan Johnston is a young man who the locals call, “crazy white man” because of his attire and thick blonde dreads. He pours out his heart into the culture and gets to know people on their level.
