WR Alumni 2018 Trip to Morocco

Join our alumni trip to Morocco!

Alumni trips are an opportunity to reconnect with life on the mission field and join fellow alumni to serve. In addition to this being a short term trip for alumni, it’s also an opportunity to share life on the mission field with your home community. You can invite a friend, your family, or maybe someone from church. This could be a life changing experience for someone you know.

Known for couscous, iconic architecture, and cities like Casablanca, Fes, and Marrakesh, Morocco is a land of spice, beaches, mountains, and desert.

With rich cultural influences from the indigenous Berber, Arabic, Sub-Saharan, and European nations, the nation’s second largest industry is tourism.

99% of the population are Sunni Muslim, which means the entire nation lives without the hope of Christ and the life-changing presence of His grace.

Ministry:

  • Intercession/Worship: You’ll spend the first part of your day in prayer and worship, interceding for the nation of Morocco and its people.
  • Relational evangelism: In the afternoons, you will go out into the community and share God’s love through making relationships and investing in whoever you meet.

Will you delve into this culture of works-based religion, strong self-discipline, and uncanny faith, living out the power of the Gospel in a land where it is not known?
