WR Alumni Trips – Cambodia Base/Support

Have you ever dreamed about opening up your own guesthouse? Do you want to share Jesus with backpackers, expats, and locals in Southeast Asia? 

Adventures in Missions has just purchased a beautiful guesthouse in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It’s located near Angkor Wat. 

We’re calling it the Overflow. Why? Because we believe this place will be an overflow of love and ministry to our guests, Adventures community, and local partners all around. This guesthouse will also be our central hub of operations throughout Southeast Asia. World Race teams will be routed through this base and do ministry throughout the surrounding areas.

We believe this is where God is asking us to build.

God’s charge to us is to establish His Kingdom around the world. So, we’re launching bases around the world. Through this, our prayer is that we can understand God’s heart for a country to better serve Him through long and short term ministry. We are just now exploring this and our first initiative is in here in Siem Reap.

We have the guesthouse, we have the vision, but what we’re lacking is people.

We’re praying for World Race Alumni (or other friends) to join us to get this ministry off the ground.

Current Ministry Opportunities Include:

• Construction  – to build dorms for racers / short term teams and other immediate projects
• Food Services – we need a chef that could train local staff to make food for community
• Hospitality – front desk and customer service to care for people really well – we want them feeling the love we know and share
• Decor – we need to liven this place up!! we hope to have people that can bring new life in the place of old 
• Donor Relations – fundraise for various improvements and things we need to grow as a ministry and business
• Ministry Development – build relationships and ministry opportunities with potential local partners we can walk alongside with
• Teaching – English is in high demand! we can find many avenues for teaching around the area simply with the use of English!
• Marketing / Social Media – definitely need support here to get the word out about who we are and how we are seeking to grow
