While serving in Mashulaville, MS, your team will serve in
- Camp Ministry: Monday through Friday, 30-40 young people show up for a local day camp, hungry for breakfast and attention. Prepare to be swept away by their infectious laughter and wide-eyed joy. These kids will watch you and your team model Jesus.
- Kids and Youth Ministry at Crystal Ridge, Choctaw reservation: Cooperating with our Choctaw Christian partners, we spend afternoons (and sometimes evenings) in sports ministry and sharing lives with locals. Small group Bible studies or discussion groups are popular with adults. We have access to the swimming pool. Volleyball, dodge ball, softball, and basketball are all favorites! These kids have had wonderful times with previous missions; they’re looking forward to getting to know you.
- Evening Bible Camp: Either the June 11 or the June 18 mission team will help Choctaw Christian host their annual summer Bible Camp, a joy and a privilege! This team will not spend much time in the early day Bible Camps at Mashulaville. Ask about this first-come, first-served opportunity, Monday through Thursday evenings, 7 to 8:30 PM. Bring energy and creativity. Jesus is already there!
