On March 11, 2011 a massive earthquake hit the coast of Japan, devastating the Island nation.  It ripped through northeast Kyushu, spawning a series of frighteningly powerful tsunamis that dealt even more devastation. The epicenter of the quake, which was recorded at a record 8.9 and later revised to 9.0, was the largest ever in Japan and the fifth most powerful in the world, costing over 18,000 lives. Alabama Youth

NOTE:  Participants must be 14 years of age or older Rainsville, Alabama   The tornado that ripped through the Rainsville, Alabama area on Wednesday, April 27 rode off the mountain and dropped onto the highway, destroying a high school stadium, a Huddle House, and anything else in its path – trees, homes, and people.   The effects of the tornado are devastating. 43 are dead. 173 injured. 250 are still missing. Navajo Bible Camp Bursts at the Seams!   A few years ago, the Navajo BIC Mission’s summer Bible Camp grew far beyond what the base staff could manage.
