Serve Haiti after Hurricane Matthew In October 2016, Hurricane Matthew roared through the Caribbean and left destruction in its wake. This Category 4 Storm reached upwards of 145mph.  Over 1,000 are dead in Haiti alone. Thousands of homes across the Caribbean and southeastern coast of the United States were destroyed. This is the first major hurricane Haiti has experienced in 50 years, and the nation is still recovering from the 2010 earthquake.
