Maybe you’ve heard about women who are suffering and being victimized, and your heart breaks for them…and maybe you have your own powerful story to share.
Psalm 107:2 says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.” Since 2014, Beauty for Ashes has reached over 5,000 women in 40 countries because of people like you, who are willing to share their story of redemption.
We’ve hosted hundreds of retreats and small groups around the world, and use a proven curriculum that God uses as an effective tool to foster lasting change in the lives of women.
What will I be doing in the Dominican Republic?
While in the DR, you will partner with a family who serves their community by offering daily meals, supplemental education, and God’s Word to at least 100 children. They also support women in the community who’ve experienced hardships in life.
Your team will:

Host Beauty for Ashes retreats, creating a space for God to bring hope, healing, and redemption to the stories of local women.

Be equipped to share about topics such as worth, identity, healing, and forgiveness with others through storytelling and vulnerability.

Build meaningful relationships with your team and those with whom you minister.

Gain a deeper understanding of who God is and who you are as His daughter.
Where will I stay?
You will be staying in comfortable lodging on the ministry’s property called HOPE Mountain. The accommodations are basic and include bunk beds and bathrooms with showers. You will need to bring your own pillow, towel, and a sleeping bag or sheet and blanket. The property has a beautiful view of the forested valley below.
How can I make a difference?
God doesn’t just move on the mission field – He moves right where you are today. But sometimes it takes a journey to discover how to see Him in the everyday and how to live life on mission wherever He leads you next in the world.
