Is God calling you to minister to the hearts of women? Join other World Race Alumni women January 2017 in leading Beauty for Ashes ministry in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with Divine Vision.
Through this ministry, by women and for women, you will share the beauty and power of the Gospel through Beauty for Ashes.
Beauty for Ashes empowers women to experience God’s restoration and hope through storytelling and safe community. Through Beauty for Ashes Retreats, women support and encourage each other through sharing their own stories and experiencing the healing, redeeming power of Jesus.
God is using Beauty for Ashes to ignite a movement of bringing hope to His daughters. He is empowering them to bring lasting change to their homes, communities, and cultures.
This is an opportunity for you to join a 3 month team of World Race Alumni, sharing this hope and healing to the women in Vietnam.
Divine Vision provides a safe place for victims of human trafficking, victims of abuse and young girls at high risk. The majority of the young women housed are from indigenous and/ or minority groups.
Divine Vision provides victims of abuse a safe house, lessons on basic living skills, vocational training and through Beauty for Ashes a safe place to share their stories. It exists to give women the opportunity to have their lives fully restored.
On this trip we will be pioneering a new frontier with our Vietnamese sisters: we will host a retreat, training and equipping local women to continue Beauty For Ashes ministry after the team leaves the ministry site.
The Founder of Divine Vision asked God to extend her territory. He was faithful and opened the doors to set up homes for rescued victims. Here, women who have been victims of abuse experience God’s restoration and receive hope for their future.
As a part of our 3 month Beauty for Ashes missions team, you will get to experience the richness of the ministry with both your team and our local Vietnamese sisters.
Your team will:
- Serve in Ho Chi Minh City for 3 months.
- Be trained and equipped in Gainesville, GA for 2 weeks at the beginning of your trip to host Beauty for Ashes retreats, allowing God to bring hope, healing and redemption to your story.
- Be introduced to the basics of inner healing through story sharing.
- Support and partner with both the local communities and ministries.
- Build relationships and trust with local women before the retreat.
- Provide follow up ministry to empower local women to continue Beauty for Ashes ministry after your team leaves.
- Disciple local women in leading Beauty for Ashes ministry.
