What Is Needed:
Although the poorest country in South America (Bolivians get tired of hearing that), it's also one of the richest in terms of natural resources. The most indigenous country in South America, with over 60% of the population claiming indigenous heritage, including Aymará, Quechua, Guaraní, and over 30 other ethnic groups.
You will fly into Santa Cruz, but the majority of your time will be spent 300 miles away in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. Your "home" for the three weeks is a conference center that used to be a school for missionary children. It sits not far from what used to be the World's Most Dangerous Road. On top of the world in the Southern Hemisphere, the stars will be brighter due to lack of elecritic pollution and the beauty of nature–the rivers and majestic mountains–will amaze you.
What You Will Do:
You will help facilitate two 3-day camps for teenagers, prayer walks, build relationships through home visits, church ministry, run a three day VBS program with a local AWANA program, and various other ministries.
