Choctaw – Bogue Chitto, MS (14I0712BC, 7/12-7/19)

Impact the Lives of Rural Mississippi Kids through Day Camps and Bible Camps!

Every year, a veteran Adventures in Missions project leader gathers missionaries to share the Father’s love. The teams love openly, laugh a lot, and meet the Choctaw and Mashulaville people where they are. Here’s what this week will look like for your team:

Summer day camp — Monday through Friday, 30-40 young people show up early at the Mashulaville Dorm, hungry for breakfast and attention. Prepare to be swept away by their infectious laughter and wide-eyed joy. These kids will watch you and your team model Jesus.

Evening Bible camps — 6:30 p.m. is the magic hour for kids in the Choctaw reservation communities of Pearl River, Bogue Chitto, and Crystal Ridge during this week. Three evenings, three locations, three sets of studies for kids, teens, and adults.

Bonus — Your team will arrive in time to enjoy the last day of the legendary Choctaw Fair, including the World Championship Stickball Finals. This is the Super Bowl of stickball mixed with a huge cultural experience!
