Mornings – summer day camp for kids in Mashulaville.
Want to work with a ministry that you know will make a huge difference? Sign up for one of these weeks! Monday through Friday, 30-40 young people show up early at the dorm (your lodging), hungry for breakfast and attention. Prepare to be swept away by their infectious laughter and wide-eyed joy. These kids will watch you and your team model Jesus.
Afternoons – the kids of Crystal Ridge, Choctaw reservation. After lunch and a break to catch your breath, you’re off to touch the lives of Choctaw kids and teens at Crystal Ridge. Cooperating with our Choctaw Christian partners, we spend afternoons (and sometimes evenings) in sports ministry and sharing lives with locals. Small group Bible studies or discussion groups are popular with adults. We have access to the swimming pool. Volleyball, dodge ball, softball, and basketball are all favorites! These kids have had wonderful times with previous missions; they’re looking forward to getting to know you.
Evenings – Bible Camp at Choctaw Christian Church, Crystal Ridge. Either the June 13 or the June 20 mission team will help Choctaw Christian host their annual summer Bible Camp, a joy and a privilege! This team will not spend much time in the early day Bible Camps at Mashulaville. Ask about this first-come, first-served opportunity, Monday through Thursday evenings, 7 to 8:30 PM. Bring energy and creativity. Jesus is already there!
