An adventure awaits you in Ecuador!
Close to four hours outside Quito (the bustling capital city of Ecuador) is a place beyond the Andes highlands, where the indigenous people of the Amazon jungle live and work in a place mostly unknown to other parts of the world. This is the region where almost 40 years ago, a group of missionaries, including Jim Elliot, gave their lives in pursuit of reaching the people of “region Amazonas” with the good news of Jesus Christ. Because of the love that caused these people to give their lives, many in that tribe are now lovers of Christ.
Sadly, there are still many tribes in the region that don’t know Jesus and still partake in the ancient tribal religions and conflicts.
In the midst of this jungle, there is a Bible school run by an organization called Incalink, a group of missionaries that exist to operate in the territories once occupied by the Incas and reach the 300 million youth that live there.
You will be living in the jungle at the Bible school or in one of the surrounding villages it serves, partnering with its students as they learn how to take the Gospel home with them. This will include living in the tight knit community, hiking to other villages to do medical crusades, working in schools, evangelizing unreached communities, and even helping farmers harvest their crop. You might also help the Bible school as it works to sustain itself.
Join our team to serve the beautiful people of Ecuador.
