Unconditional love – God’s plan for Successful Cross-Cultural Ministry
With more than a quarter of the population of Native American Reservations living in extreme poverty, the Fort Apache Reservation can be a hard place to live.
Many Native American tribes struggle with alcoholism, depression and a high youth suicide rate.
But for many years, God has used an established youth ministry in Fort Apache to bring light to the dark places.
Through loving Apache teens unconditionally, God has softened hearts and allowed our partners to share the hope and purpose they have in Jesus.
One of our partners says, “A missions team can give us the manpower to accomplish community evangelism and individual discipleship in a much broader scope. That includes the ability to reach out to smaller children who will someday be in our teen programs and to the parents who trust us to work with their children. A team helps build our reputation in the community and works to further the renown of God. The team benefits by having an opportunity to serve the people and needs of the White Mountain Apache Tribe.”
Will you be a light in the darkness and allow God to use you to bring love and joy into the lives of the youth of Fort Apache?
