We invite you to join a select group of 40 others like yourself – adventurous, intellectually curious Jesus-followers who are ready to challenge the status quo around the world and bring hope.
Web Development & Entrepreneurship
Build a foundational skill set in computer science. You will build and launch applications from scratch, database to design, using MongoDB, Node.js, Express, and React.
Find your work ethic and resiliency tested as you use your developer skill set to build out and launch projects with your cohort.
Outcome: Expert in web development, project management and launching applications. Your Passion Project may become a sustainable enterprise that continues to bring hope and change lives long after you’ve graduated.
Leadership
We’ve found that the best leadership training is imparted through experience, debriefing and coaching. You’ll be challenged and encouraged at a high level.
Our professors have trained Fortune 500 executives and ministry leaders alike. We use a model of leadership that is pressure-tested in real world engagements.
We connect you to mentors and projects that ask you to move into arenas where you grow in your people skills, your empowerment of others, and your communication skills.
Ministry & Spiritual Formation
We use the Jesus-focused model that Adventure in Missions has used in discipling over 100,000 people around the world.
Our regular one-on-one mentorship allows each student to be seen and appreciated for their unique identity.
You’ll grow in your identity as one who is loved by God and you’ll begin to walk in intimacy, community, mission, and your calling.
Adventure
You’ve dreamt of traveling the world, seeing exotic markets, soaking up culture and history. Adventures start with dreaming.
We set aside weekends for you and your cohort to explore and work on your Passion Project. Jump on a train, cross borders, or go see the Eiffel Tower. Monday morning each cohort reports in with the story of their Adventure Weekend.
Cohort – Community
Small class size, and even smaller cohorts. You will form a cohort of 5-7 people with cross-functional skill-sets.
Our culture places a premium on relationship in an environment of safety and feedback. Living in such a positive culture is one of the most gratifying things about student life.
Your cohort will facilitate feedback, code-reviews, and personal development plans; with oversight from coaches that include trained specialists in body, soul, spirit, and career/calling.
