Kingdom Journeys: Morocco

Kingdom Journeys
Morocco

What is Happening In Morocco?

Morocco is surprisingly tolerant towards Christianity, making it quite open in terms of receptiveness to the Gospel, despite being almost entirely Muslim. With an increase in teams visiting Morocco, there is a need for more ministry partners in-country who can connect and guide our teams into opportunities for evangelism, away from the larger, more Westernized cities of Coastal Morocco.

The most pressing need is to find dependable ministry partners in locations that are more inland, in the Atlas Mountains and Saharan region in the south of the country. These areas are primarily Berber in culture. The Berber people of Morocco, traditionally nomadic and indigenous to pre-Arab Morocco, are famous for navigating the old Caravan trade routes of the Sahara. They mostly reside in the Rif and Draa valleys, as well as some parts of the Atlas regions.

In Need of Missionaries to establish Long-Term Partnerships while Sharing the Gospel in Muslim Migrant Communities

While a major focus of this trip will be to find ministry partners for future teams, the primary goal will be to share the Gospel with Muslims, and the training will reflect this. Any ministry partnerships developed should be an overflow of the focus on having Gospel conversations with Muslims.
