From amazing food to beautiful music, Mexico is alive with culture. But poverty is all around.
Although many people’s vision of Mexico includes sparkling white beaches and luxury hotels, impoverished families in parts of Mexico City send their children to work in the streets to make ends meet.
The religious history of Mexico is fraught with conflict and cultural baggage, and the path to a personal relationship with Jesus often gets lost along the way.
The people of Mexico City need to experience God’s love in a tangible way.
Your team may partner with ministries such as the Salvation Army to serve people in some of the poorest areas of Mexico City. You may work with children, lead a Vacation Bible School, and share stories, dramas, and songs with them.
You could connect with youth by playing soccer, building relationships with them, and demonstrating your relationship with Jesus through your actions. You may also connect with adults during visits to the local market.?
While you’re visiting, find time to hike a volcano or visit a local market. There is so much to experience and so many ways to serve in Mexico City.
Will you show the people of Mexico a true relationship with Jesus and bring them his hope?
