Mexico is a nation in great need of change and no one is more equipped to help them than the nation across the border. As a nation crying out for help, it is time we rise up and bring love to a nation who is beckoning for hope.
In the quiet border town of Matamoros, the simple shacks and houses cover the surrounding hills. Children play with soccer balls made from rags in the streets shouting at one another in Spanish as the mothers call out to them from the dusty doorsteps of their houses.
Mexico needs a revival.
You will be filling a vital role in the community by reaching various communities, working in our local orphanage, and doing construction and maintenance projects for people in need and share the Gospel with new friends you make along the way.
The Mexican-American border is not all we share with these people. We have a common heritage and many of the people you will meet have family and other ties in America.
Even though you will be here for only a short time, the relationships you build here will last a lifetime.
We can bring healing to this nation through love.
