PP Fall 2017 Macedonia

Macedonia, once part of Communist Yugoslavia, is in the Balkan Peninsula. The country gained independence in 1991, but its history is riddled with conflict over its territory, as various countries have tried to absorb its borders within their own.

Once part of ancient Greece, Paul himself preached in Macedonia.

With 65% of the nation Eastern Orthodox and 33% Muslim, Macedonia also has the 5th highest percentage of Muslims in Europe.

As this new nation still struggles for solid footing in uncertain times, you will share the life-saving truth that complete security comes from dependence on Christ.

While in Macedonia, your team will partner with a ministry deeply involved in its community. Through a local coffee shop, where coffee, tea, English lessons, guitar lessons, and even Christian books and Bibles are offered for free, you’ll be able to build relationships with the over 100 Muslim students who come through the community center. You’ll share the Gospel with your life and laughter. In addition, there might be an opportunity to reach out to these students’ families in nearby villages.

Whether you give English lessons, teach guitar, or make a thousand cups of coffee, you will be sharing the love of Jesus through everything you do and say.

Will you live the Gospel in the same land where Paul preached it? Will you share God’s love in Macedonia?
