Welcome to Vietnam, where the women tend rice paddies, children ride buffalo, and the men spend long hours boating for work. But behind the agrarian lifestyle, a country lies in need of healing from war-torn years.
Facing government oppression and strife for decades, the people of Vietnam are searching for hope in this closed country, where it is illegal to openly share the gospel. Wars in Vietnam left a lot of the current young adult population without fathers and many are seeking guidance. It’s our hope that they find guidance in Jesus Christ.
This is where you come in, you get the opportunity to build relationship and friendship with the youth of Vietnam and be Jesus to them. Instead of using your words, you will get to use your actions.
You will get the opportunity to work at a cafe and teach English and spend time with students in activities outside of the cafe. It will be your team’s responsibility to plan beach days, movie outings, picnics, etc. to continue to invest deeply into your new friendships.
Because of the nature of this ministry, we are looking for a team of only seven people so you can really dive deep into relationships with the Vietnamese youth. Are you ready to build long and lasting relationships to point students toward Christ?
