You’ve seen the photos in National Geographic and the videos on the Travel Channel. You’ve caught a glimpse of the geographic and ethnic diversity of Kenya. But just as the lives of the Kenyan people are just intermingled with drought and desert as the land itself is.
In Kenya, you’ll face AIDS, poverty hunger and those living in “tent cities”- internally displaced persons (IDP) camps. But the needs of the Kenyan people aren’t just physical. Their understanding of Christ is miles wide, but only inches deep. The range of problems the country is confronted with is diverse; so the ministries you will get to engage in will vary.
Come be a part of the solution God uses to change a nation.
You may share the gospel through evangelism or outreaches. You may visit hospitals and pray for the sick or spend time in orphanages and schools.. You may also play pick-up games of soccer with street kids or witness the poverty of those living in IDP camps.
There’s a chance you might get to go on safari to see the Big Five or experience the Kenyan Highlands but for sure, you’ll bear witness hope in a new way as God will use you to share His love with Kenya.
Will you go reach out to the people of Kenya and experience Christ’s love in a deeper way?
