Zambia boasts one of the seven wonders of the world, the rushing heights of Victoria Falls, known as “the smoke that thunders”. An entirely landlocked nation, Zambia touches eight sister countries and is home to seventy-three tribes, speaking twenty different languages.
Zambia became an independent nation in 1964 after years of British colonial rule. Since then, the economy has grown, but the Zambian people still suffer from poverty, short life expectancy, malnourishment, lack of clean water, and the AIDS crisis. Christianity is the official religion in Zambia, but the local church needs support for a solid biblical foundation to raise up the next generation.
You have the opportunity to partner with a Zambian ministry to equip the local church with training for kids, youth, and camp ministries in rural and urban areas:
Through discipleship, you will encourage and help strengthen the local church.
Through children’s ministry, you will share the Gospel and teach of them Christ, setting the course for the rest of their lives.
Through youth ministry, you will volunteer in local schools.
Through orphan ministry, you will share with the abandoned and alone their truth worth and identities as sons and daughters of God.
Through the possibility of medical ministry, you will help our host taking basic medical care to rural communities, and help teach these communities on health, development, and and the Gospel.
Through widow ministry, you will help empower them through both business skills and the Word of God, as well as help with work projects around their homes.
Will you partner with God’s heart for Zambia?
