With geography ranging from gorgeous savanna to underground cave systems, Ghana is a popular spot for tourists looking to explore Africa’s natural beauty. A strong economy and a democratic government makes it a highly influential country in its region. With such influence, Ghana is a country that needs to be firmly rooted in Jesus Christ.
Ministry:
In Ghana you will partner with CORM, a ministry that works with children who have been orphaned, abandoned, trafficked, or are vulnerable to trafficking. They currently have 60 children living on campus from a variety of situations. Children live in homes with house parents or house deans and attend school daily at CORM’s on-campus school, Faith Roots International Academy.
CORM also works with single women vulnerable to trafficking their children, giving them skills to start their own business. This ministry is called 7 Continents. The women live on-campus as well as learn to sew in their workshop on the CORM campus.
CORM also works in the local community through their Impact One program. This part of the ministry works with local families to help them work towards sustainable living, training various members of the community regarding community issues, provides micro-loans and accountability services, and much more, all admidst the process of giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people.
While partnering with CORM you will get the opportunity to work in all or some of these ministries, sharing hope and Christ’s love with those at risk in Ghana.
