PP Summer 2017 Nicaragua

Nicaragua has been called the land of lakes and volcanoes. Thick rainforests, rugged highlands, long beaches, and fertile hills define the country’s beautiful landscape. Its rich history dates back to the Spanish conquistadores

As the poorest nation in Central America, almost 80% of Nicaraguans live on less than $2 a day. More than half the population lives beneath the poverty line. One in four Nicaraguans is starving or suffering from malnutrition.

Nicaragua needs your encouragement.

Ministry:

You will get to work at an orphanage on the breathtaking Ometepe Island. There you will play with kids, help teach and tutor them in their studies, and possibly do a light construction project. We’ve been partnering with them for almost a decade and it has always been a favorite of Passport participants.

Will you share God’s love in Nicaragua?
