PP Summer 2017 South Asia

South Asia is, in a word, eclectic – in language, foods, and fashion. The opportunities you’ll find for ministry will be just as varied.

Perhaps you already know about the poverty, the persecution of Christians, and the injustices (like forced prostitution and labor) that plague South Asia. On this trip, you’ll work with established Christian ministries in southeastern South Asia not only to do something about these issues but to share the Gospel as you love and serve.

Ministry:

From locations.adventures.org

On this trip, you’ll work with  Bibles for the World Christian ministries in far Northeast South Asia. The Manipur region is rarely visited by foreigners.  You will share the Gospel as you love and serve.

Your team will focus on working with unreached people groups, working with medical camps church planting, visiting local villages with VBS and after school programs, teaching English, and evangelism. Other ministry opportunities include working with local congregations, sharing meals with pastors, and maybe even having the opportunity to help plant a new church,

You might be called to serve visibly – perhaps by speaking in church. You’ll spend a lot of time getting low – in the dirt, playing with children, washing the feet of downtrodden women, or simply listening to one man share his life story with you.

This is your opportunity to grow discover hands-on God’s heart for this corner of South Asia as you share his love with its people.
