STM 2016 – Parent (Men’s) STM Trip to Swaziland

Men Only: Construction Trip to Swaziland!

You watched your child serve God throughout the world and come back changed; their transformation has inspired you.

But the truth is, it wasn’t just their journey. It was yours too.

From fundraising, purchasing supplies, packing, emotional and spiritual preparation, driving to the airport, and/or coming to Launch, you were there every step of the way. Once they were on the field, you supported from home—investing, encouraging, and growing with them.

Watching them come fully alive while serving God on the mission field, gave you much deserved parental pride! It inspired you to live differently, to invest in ministry differently. . . and possibly, to dream of serving overseas in a similar way.

It’s time to continue your journey.

Swaziland is like no place on earth. Visitors are stunned by its lush, mountainous beauty, and the tragic truth that it has the highest HIV/AIDS rate in the world.

Adventures Swaziland has been working in Swazi for over 10 years.

We believe God has a redemption plan for the HIV/AIDS pandemic. We see a generation of children raised to take leadership of their country and going throughout the world to preach the Gospel. We see healthy communities full of healthy families characterized by healthy relationships.

We want to see children survive, thrive, and succeed. We want them to become well-adjusted adults prepared to live abundant lives through Christ, contributing in productive ways to their society through church, work, family, and community. We address this vision through our partnership with Children’s Hopechest, the neighborhood Carepoints, feeding, discipleship, clean water, education, and access to healthcare.

Your ministry will include:

  • Work Projects: We have over 34 community Carepoints throughout the country that feed over 6000 children 1 meal a day, 6 days a week. Your team will build outdoor kitchen units at and near the Nsoko Carepoint.
  • Kids Ministry: Swaziland has the highest orphan rate in the world. While at the Carepoints, every child will be an opportunity to make them feel valued, cherished, and important. This could look like playing football (soccer) or a simple interaction with whoever is around.
  • Men Only: This trip is for men (and their 18+ sons, if interested). No construction skills are required.
  • Adventure: Optional Safari at the end of the trip!

Will you help us feed and empower Swaziland’s next generation?
